Manage obsolescence during planned maintenance, before a breakdown
If a critical PLC or drive has been discontinued, searching only for a used spare may not be a long-term solution. Prepare a backup of the existing program, parameters, an I/O list and an alternative migration plan.
Prioritization
Address devices first when they have a major impact on production stoppages, have no available spare or represent a single point of failure.
