Selection criteria
Confirm 0.15–15 m range and 15° × 15° beam fit the target geometry. Confirm target dielectric/reflective behavior and mounting orientation using the application. Verify 4–20 mA scaling, configurable discrete output and IO-Link requirements. Do not use this sensor as a personnel-protection safety device.
Installation, commissioning and maintenance
Use the official threaded-barrel mounting procedure and CAD drawing; align the beam to minimize target tilt. Maintain RF exposure separation and wiring requirements stated in the current product manual. Configure range, sensitivity and output behavior with IO-Link/software/buttons as required. Validate analog span and discrete switching against minimum/maximum real targets. Keep the radome clean, inspect mechanical alignment and monitor signal-strength/diagnostic information.
