Inductive Proximity Sensor | 50154014
Leuze IS D30MM/4NO-15N-M12 (50154014) provides 15 mm nominal sensing distance, a PNP switching output and M12, 4-pin male, A-coded. Supply: 10–30 V DC; protection: IP67.
This is a PNP Normally open (NO) device. Other M30 devices with different output polarity or switching function are not automatic drop-in replacements.

Application selection
Metal target detection, Machine position monitoring, Assembly fixture presence checks. Suitability must be confirmed using the actual target and machine conditions.
- Match the PNP / Normally open (NO) function to the PLC input.
- Use the 0–12.1 mm assured operating range rather than the nominal 15 mm rating for mechanical selection.
- Respect the manufacturer’s flush or non-flush mounting clearances.
- Test the actual metal target material, dimensions and position.
Installation and commissioning
Qualified personnel should install and wire the sensor with the machine in a safe, de-energized condition. Verify the exact label, supply voltage, connector pin assignment and PLC input before energizing. Test both target-present and target-absent states at the required production speed.
Maintenance and ordering
Inspect mounting, connector condition and the sensing surface regularly. Clean using an appropriate non-damaging method and repeat the functional test. This device is not a personnel-protection safety sensor.
