- Ambient temperature: -10…+50 °C
- Relative humidity: 35…85% RH, non-condensing
Selection criteria
Confirm 35–250 mm usable detection geometry and target/background spacing. Confirm PNP control architecture and M8 4-pin connector. Use the documented deviation and spot size when assessing small-part or edge detection. Validate IP68/IP69K and chemical/washdown requirements for the actual installation.
Installation, commissioning and maintenance
Mount rigidly and keep the optical window clear; avoid mechanical stress on the connector. Align the sensing axis so the target remains inside the documented distance range. Perform teach/setup with the actual target/background and validate worst-case surfaces. Test Light-ON/Dark-ON behavior and PLC logic before production release. Inspect optical window contamination and verify teach stability during planned maintenance.
