Beckhoff EK1100 EtherCAT Coupler

Selection criteria
Calculate total E-bus current and add power-feed terminals when required. Respect the 100 m maximum 100BASE-TX segment length. Check field power-contact voltage/current and isolation needs. Verify IP20 cabinet environment and temperature limits.
Installation, commissioning and maintenance
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail and maintain suitable cabinet environmental protection. Connect system/field 24 VDC and EtherCAT in/out ports according to the official topology. Scan the EtherCAT station in TwinCAT, verify terminal order and process image. Check link/run/error diagnostics and distributed I/O operation under machine load. Inspect RJ45 latching, power contacts and terminal seating; retain TwinCAT configuration and ESI/version documentation.
