Fit detection into a narrow mounting position
An 11 × 32.4 × 20 mm body and two M3 threaded sleeves make PRK5B/P a candidate for compact machine layouts. The polarized optical arrangement monitors red light returned by an opposing reflector. Its fixed two-metre cable is useful when wiring needs to run directly to a nearby junction point instead of adding a connector at the sensor.
Match the PNP dark-on output to the control input
Order code 50145244 provides one PNP transistor output with dark-on behaviour. Product interruption of the reflected beam changes the signal evaluated by a compatible control input. Consider the 500 Hz switching rate and 1 ms response together with target spacing and line speed. Power is supplied at 10–30 V DC through a black, three-conductor PVC cable with a 0.14 mm² conductor cross-section.
Turn a component request into a usable sensing point
The 0.02–5 m operating range applies with the TK(S) 100×100 reflector. Compact conveyor entry checks, package passage and feed-station monitoring are possible uses after application evaluation. Reflector size and target properties affect the available detection margin.
